Accessibility

Annunciation parish is accessible via wheelchair in all public spaces except one meeting room on the second floor; our hall is also accessible via wheelchair. Our main bathroom has a special wheelchair accessible stall.

We have change tables in both the women’s and men’s washrooms. Books and small toys are available at the entrance of the church for children to use during Mass and events. We also have a nursery where mothers can nurse and parents can settle children without having to worry about noise. There are also children’s books available in the nursery.

Our Masses are broadcasted via livestream on our YouTube channel and the audio is piped from the main church into the church entrance, which can be helpful for parents who need to step out with children, or for those who are sensitive to stimuli. There are also children’s books in a stand near the front doors for children to read during Mass.

If you are in need of extra assistance or have questions about accessibility, please let our team know via email (parish@annnunciation-ottawa.com) or via phone: 613-745-7774
