A special Children’s Liturgy is offered at the 4pm and 6pm masses
Christmas reveals the immense love of God for humanity. From that flows also the enthusiasm, the hope of us Christians, that in our poverty we know that we are loved.
Pope Francis
The hope of Christmas is that we are loved as we are, in our brokenness, our grief, our quick tempers, our selfishness. We don’t need to be perfect to encounter God tonight. He came as a little child, so we wouldn’t be afraid to sit beside him. He made himself small so we could approach him and feel safe. Whether you feel close or far to God right now, he has come to offer the same love. We can’t earn it, and we don’t deserve it. He offers it anyway.
Our parish prayer is that we would each encounter Jesus in a new way this Christmas.
