“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
John 14:26
Do you feel you know the Holy Spirit?
We often forget the third person of the Trinity. Given to the Church at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit is meant to be our helper and advocate. He inspired scripture. He intercedes for us. When we struggle for words, he can provide them. He offers, too, gifts to help us in our faith journey, stepping into the chaos of our lives and bringing joy and peace.
How do we get to know the Holy Spirit? Do we know if he is active in our lives? How can we receive his supernatural joy and peace?
Join us for a Pentecost Vigil and experience the Holy Spirit in a new way. We will have a talk from Fr. Ken Lao C.C., with music provided by parishioner Jeff Lavery. Prayer teams will be available to pray with you and ask for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your life. There will be light refreshments and fellowship to follow.
We don’t need all the answers or perfect holiness. Like the apostles at Pentecost, come gather together and experience the beauty of the Holy Spirit!
