Jesus said, “Let the children come to me ... for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
The sacraments are some of the most wonderful gifts we can share with our children, and we’re excited to journey with families as they prepare for First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Holy Communion (Eucharist) for their child (7-8 years old).
This is a joyful time of learning, growing in faith, and discovering Jesus’ love—not just for your child, but for your whole family!
What the Journey Looks Like
Part 1: Getting Started

Welcome Session: Sunday, February 28, 2027, 2pm – 3:30pm (for both parent & child)
- Please bring child's baptism certificate and payment ($20) to this session
Part 2: Preparing for the Sacraments
- 4 Preparation Sessions: Sundays, 2pm – 3:30pm (March 7, March 14, March 21, April 4)
Retreat & First Reconciliation: Saturday, April 10, 10am – 2pm (pizza lunch included)
First Communion Mass: Sunday, April 11, at 9am and 11am Masses
- Celebration and Final Session: Sunday, April 18, 2pm – 3:30pm
Cost: $20 per child (can be paid at Launch Session)
