National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
As Canadians take time to commemorate the first-ever National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, parishioners are invited to take time to pray for healing and reconciliation with our Indigenous brothers and sisters. We invite parishioners to pray a rosary for the intentions of Truth and Reconciliation and to attend Mass at Annunciation at 9:00 a.m.
Mass for Healing and Reconciliation
On the eve of the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Fr. Daryold Winkler, pastor of St. Basil’s Parish and a member of the Ojibway First Nation, will preside at Mass then bless the trees planted in memory of the Indigenous children lost at residential schools.
