Weekend Mass Times

In person-Mass will be offered at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening and on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  Pre-registration is required.  Click here.

The outdoor Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot.  There is lots of room – all are welcome.

If you plan to attend the outdoor Mass, we would ask that you plan to arrive no earlier than 9:30 a.m. so that folks attending the 8:00 a.m. Mass will have time to exit the parking lot.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

The 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Masses will be live-streamed and recorded for those who wish to view at a later time.

Drive-by Communion will continue following the 10:00 a.m. Mass from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Rocky Railway FAMILY Vacation Bible School (VBS)!

In anticipation of Covid-19 restrictions beginning to lift, Annunciation is planning a family VBS this August with a new format at a new time. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 pm during the week of August 9th to 12th, families will learn how to trust in Jesus in a fun and dynamic way through Bible Adventures, amazing music and sciency-fun gizmos!

There are many ways parishioners can become involved and support VBS.

  • Invite! Spread the word by inviting family, friends and neighbours to our Family VBS.
  • Register! Register your family HERE : https://vbspro.events/p/events/annunciation2021
  • Donate! Help cover the cost of snacks and supplies to keep registration low for families. Cash donations or grocery store gift cards can be dropped off at the parish or in the donation basket.
  • Lend! We need Christmas trees, vintage suitcases and lanterns to transform our parish into a Rocky Mountain train station. Do you have any of these items that you can lend? Contact Laura at vbs@annunciation-ottawa.com  with a photo or description of your item.  All items will be returned after VBS.

Comings and Goings

With each new season comes change.  As we transition into summer, we wish to acknowledge and to offer our sincere thanks to Caitlyn Bondy (Alpha & Music Ministry), Becca Pruner (Music Ministry), and Jonathan Hilsden (Music Ministry), Deacon Will Read, Joan Legris (Ministry for Seniors) and Katherine LeLievre (First Prep) for sharing their time and talents in service to the parishioners at Annunciation of the Lord.

There are changes happening in Youth Ministry.  Julianna Squires, who has been with us for two years, will be returning to school in the fall.  We wish her well in her studies.  Alex will return in the fall with a new team mate.

We would also like to welcome Rebecca Pereira (First Prep), Maureen Tonon (Ministry for Seniors) and Laura O’Reilly (the new Ministry for Families) to their new leadership roles.

Please remember all our ministry volunteers in your prayers.

Come Pray to Mary

Looking for a quiet place for contemplation or to simply pray the rosary.  Why not stop by the Grotto and spend some time with Mary.

Lawn Signs

When you are walking by or following Mass, don’t forget to pick up a lawn sign and take it home.

*Please note, we’ve received reports of scam emails being sent impersonating the pastors and staff of Annunciation of the Lord Parish. Please do not respond to those emails and never send money.
