Fall is Here. Here’s What’s Happening at Annunciation of the Lord
September for many people is the unofficial New Year and the change of seasons bring a new routine (school, work, etc). To help you plan your fall, we wanted to share the following information with you:
Sunday Morning Outdoor Mass Moves Inside!
Beginning, Sunday, September 12th the Sunday Morning 10:00 a.m. Mass is moving inside the Church. This means if you wish to attend the 10:00 a.m. Mass you will need to pre-register. To do so, please click on the link and fill in your details.
Weekend Mass Times & Schedule Update
Saturday at 5:00 p.m.; Sunday at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required for all Masses.
Annunciation will continue to live-stream the Sunday 10:00 a.m. Mass on the parish Facebook and YouTube Channels.
Sunday Morning Drive-By Communion
Drive-by Communion will continue following the 10:00 a.m. Mass from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Weekday Mass
Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. from Monday to Saturday. No pre-registration required. Mass will be live-streamed on the parish’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel
Adoration
Adoration will be held on Tuesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Reconciliation
Fr Rob and Fr John will be available to hear confessions on Thursdays in the hall from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Triumph of the Cross – September 14
Mass will be celebrated on September 14 at 7:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. September 14th also begins 12 days of prayer for the Companions of the Cross. Join in praying for the community and the brothers. Check out the Companions of the Cross Facebook Page for more information and which brothers we’ll be praying for each day.
Mass for Seniors
The next Mass for Seniors will be held on September 15 at noon. No pre-registration required.
First Communion Prep at Annunciation of the Lord
Do you have a child who is starting Grade 2 this Fall or who has missed receiving their Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in the past couple of years? The First Prep Program at Annunciation of the Lord Parish provides parish-based catechesis for children from Grades 2-6 who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
We will be holding information and registration sessions on Wednesday, September 29 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 3 at 11:30 a.m. in the parish hall. All interested families are welcome to attend. Please bring a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate. There will be a $30 program fee to cover the cost of materials, which can be payable in the form of cash or cheque on registration night or can be paid online. Details about online payment will be shared during the registration session.
