Cross Country Pilgrimage to Lent

As Fr. Rob mentioned in his weekend homily, you are invited to accept the challenge to go for a prayer-walk during the 40 days of Lent.  Pray for your family, friends, parish, country, whoever is in your heart during this sacred time.  Every week, you will be invited to submit the distance you walked while in prayer, and a map of Canada will be on display in the Narthex showing our collective progress.

Ash Wednesday

Just a reminder, the season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 2, 2022.  The distribution of ashes will take place at the 9:00 a.m. Mass and 7:00 p.m. Mass.  For those watching online, drive-by distribution of ashes as well as Holy Communion will follow each Mass.

Stations of the Cross

Join us as we pray the Stations of the Cross on Friday evenings during Lent at 7:00 p.m.

More information about Lent 2022 at Annunciation of the Lord will be available in the coming weeks.

Latest News on COVID-19 restrictions

Early indications continue to be positive that most restrictions will soon ease.  We are now entering a bit of a transition period.  For example, provincial guidelines no longer require that contact information for people attending religious services needs to be collected or retained.

People will be seated on a first come first serve basis at all masses until we enter the next stage of re-opening.

As the situation regarding COVID protocols is very fluid and subject to change with very short notice, we ask parishioners to regularly check the parish website for the latest information.
