Lenten Recap
A big thank you to all the people who contributed their time and talent to the various activities that took place during Lent. So many lives have been touched by the various outreach activities that included the Holy Week Adventure and the Children’s Good Friday Services. We are so blessed!
Peru Missions
To date, parishioners have donated over $7,000.00 to support Brother Blaise’s work in Peru. If you are still interested in donating there is still time. Simply include your donation in the envelopes provided in the pews.
Lenten Pilgrimage
We made it from coast to coast! To date, parishioners have logged 10,572 KM. During this Octave of Easter we encourage you to keep going and provide any outstanding numbers as we are striving to complete the loop to St. John’s NF https://forms.gle/Kye9b8mddBSZiUmN7

April 30: 31st Annual Hike For Life 5 KM walk – Fr John will represent Annunciation at the Annual Hike for Life. You can sponsor Fr John as he walks the 5km route. Why not join him by registering for the event? Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Basilica. The hike starts at 9:00 a.m. Pledge forms are available at the parish or https://actionlife.org/
April 30, May 1 – The Sacrament of First Communion will be celebrated. Please pray for the children as they prepare to receive the Body of Christ for the first time.
May 4 – Baptismal Prep starts. For more information, contact baptismprep@annunciation-ottawa.com
May 12 – March for Life
June 4 – Ordination of Deacon Joshua Grandmaison to the Priesthood at Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa.
June 5 – Pentecost Sunday: Fr. Joshua will celebrate his first Mass at Annunciation.
June 5 – Confirmations: Our youth will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the 6:00 p.m. Mass. Confirmation classes begin April 20th. Please pray for our young people as they prepare to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
July 25 to 29 – Vacation Bible School (VBS). Keep an eye for more information.
