Women of Bethany: Called to Hope Catholic Women’s Retreat May 27-29, 2022.
We are pleased to welcome you to the beautiful setting of Centre de l’Amour (220, route 21, Plantagenet), nestled on the banks of the Ottawa River, with an outdoor Chapel and Stations of the Cross. Enjoy spiritual renewal and faithful inspiration in the form of talks, the opportunity for Reconciliation, praise and worship, prayer ministry, and Adoration. There will also be free time to enjoy the lovely indoor Chapel, the gift shop and roam the grounds. Delicious homestyle meals are included. Cost for this retreat is $180. Registration Deadline: May 20, 2022, however registration is reserved on a first come basis.

Altar Server Training
Training will take place on Sunday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. Young people who have made their First Communion are welcomed to attend.
Pray for our Community
This weekend, children will receive their First Communion. Six families are preparing for Baptism and our youth are preparing for Confirmation. Please continue to pray for the children and their families.

April 30 – Fr John will represent AoLP at the Annual Hike for Life. You can sponsor Fr John as he walks the 5km route. Why not join him by registering for the event? Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Basilica. The hike starts at 9:00 a.m. See the parish bulletin board for more info.
April 30, May 1 – The Sacrament of First Communion will be celebrated. Please pray for the children as they prepare to receive the Body of Christ for the first time.
May 4 – Baptismal Prep starts. For more information, contact baptismprep@annunciation-ottawa.com
May 5 – Our youth will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the 6:00 p.m. Mass. Please pray for our young people as they prepare to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
May 12 – March for Life
June 4 – Ordination of Deacon Joshua Grandmaison to the Priesthood.
June 5 – Fr. Joshua celebrates his first Mass at AoLP.
June 8 – Cursillo Grande Ultreya will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m.
July 25 to 29 – Vacation Bible School (VBS). Keep an eye for more information.
