A Chance to Say Thank You

You know that bright sunny smile that greets you in the office at the church? You know that angelic voice that leads music regularly at our parish? You know that I-do-everything gal who helps make sure things run smoothly and efficiently for our congregation?

Well – the Administrative Assistant/Director of Operations for Annunciation – Emily Millan – will be getting married at our church on October 1st, and will then be leaving our parish to live with her husband in Kingston.

Do you want a chance to say Thank You for years of faithful service to our parish? An opportunity to say good-bye before she leaves? Would you like to offer Wedding well-wishes in advance? Or are you merely curious to meet the groom-to-be and see who is this lucky man whom she will be starting a new life with?

When: Saturday Sept 17, 1-3 pm

EVERYONE is welcome to an Afternoon Drop-In in honour of Emily: say Thank you, Good-bye, and Congratulations, all at once.

Light refreshments will be served.

We’re looking for a skilled Cajon player!

My name is Cam Turner, a worship leader for one of our parish music ministry teams. I am looking for a skilled cajon player to join our group. Please send a 2-3 minute video of you playing cajon to turnercameron692@gmail.com (if the video file size is too large you may need to share it with a streaming share like Google Drive, Dropbox or YouTube). Thanks!

Looking to Volunteer?

The Funeral Reception Committee is looking for parishioners who would like to volunteer and serve with their ministry. It is a beautiful way of interceding, consoling, and comforting members of our parish community who are grieving the loss of a loved one. For more information and to express interest in serving with the ministry, please contact Janet Warren at jpwarren@rogers.com or 613-749-7653.
