Sacramental Preparation 

We will be holding an information and registration session on Sunday, October 16th at 2pm in the parish hall for those who are interested in the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.   All interested families are welcome to attend.  Please bring a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate. 

The First Prep Program at Annunciation of the Lord Parish provides parish-based catechesis for children from Grades 2-6 who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

The Wild Goose 

The Wild Goose is back and we can’t wait for you to join us! 

The Wild Goose is a faith formation program that invites viewers to an encounter, or a renewed encounter, with the Holy Spirit. Join us Thursday mornings at 10:00 am beginning September 22.

The Seniors Luncheon is Back!  

Join us on Wednesday, September 21 for Mass and our luncheon. Our guest speaker will be our very own Laura O’Reilly. This is a great chance to come and meet the new Director of Evangelization and Mission.

The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

Join us for the Companions of the Cross Feast Day! Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 14 at 7:00 pm. A reception will be held in the parish hall following Mass.

A Chance to Say Thank You  

Our Administrative Assistant/Director of Operations, Emily Millan will be getting married at our Church on October 1st . She will subsequently be leaving for Kingston.  

Join us in the parish hall on Saturday, September 17 from 1-3 pm for an opportunity to say thank you, goodbye, and congratulations.

We’re looking for a skilled Cajon player!  

Cam Turner, a worship leader for one of our parish music ministry teams, is looking for a skilled cajon player to join his worship group. Please send a 2-3 minute video of you playing cajon to turnercameron692@gmail.com (if the video file size is too large, you may need to share it with a streaming share like Google Drive, Dropbox or YouTube).   

Looking to Volunteer?

Women of Bethany Fall Retreat 

Registration is now open for the Women of Bethany Fall Catholic Women’s Retreat!  Details are as follows:   

Women of Bethany: Called to Hope Catholic Women’s Retreat Sept. 23-25, 2022.   

We are pleased to welcome you to the beautiful setting of Centre de l’Amour (220, route 21, Plantagenet), nestled on the banks of the Ottawa River.  Enjoy spiritual renewal and faithful inspiration. There will also be free time to enjoy the lovely indoor Chapel, the gift shop and roam the beautiful, vast grounds. Delicious homestyle meals are included.  The cost for this retreat is $180. Registration Deadline: Sept. 9, 2022, however registration is reserved on a first come basis.
