Halloween is coming, and it brings with it a chance to reach out to our parish neighbourhood! On October 31, Annunciation will set up a tent on the front lawn and hand out candy, hot chocolate, and popcorn to kids and parents in our neighbourhood!

Be a part of this outreach opportunity by dropping off candy donations at the info desk, or by joining us on Oct 31 to prep candy bags, make and serve treats, hand out candy, or set up/take down supplies. Click the link below to register as a volunteer.

We will be holding an information and registration session on Sunday, October 16th at 2pm in the parish hall for those who are interested in the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. All interested families are welcome to attend.  Please bring a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate. 

The First Prep Program at Annunciation of the Lord Parish provides parish-based catechesis for children from Grades 2-6 preparing to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

The next in-person meeting of the Catholic Women’s League is tonight, October 12th, at 7pm! Bring your Rosary and we will honour our Blessed Mother, Queen of the Holy Rosary. And please lug a mug. We look forward to seeing you.


The Knights of Columbus are selling tickets for a Spaghetti Dinner on Oct 15. Join us for an evening of food & fellowship in support of our local Food Bank, with the Director of the Food Bank as a guest speaker! There are 15 tickets remaining. 40 Days for Life

The 40 Days for Life is a campaign of prayer outside abortion facilities to witness to the sanctity of life and pray for those who feel abortion is their only way out of difficult situations. We pray for these mothers, fathers, and for their unborn babies.

  • Dates: September 28, 2022 – November 6, 2022
  • Time: Daily 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Location: South-East corner of Bank & Queen Streets

Our parish day is Friday, October 14th. Signup sheets can be found in the parish entrance at the Info Desk.
