SPECIAL SENIORS MASS & LUNCHEON
Join us on Dec 21 at 12pm for mass, fellowship, and good food! This month’s luncheon is provided by the Queenship of Mary as a fundraiser for their new convent being built in Plantagenet, Ontario. It’s an opportunity for us to support their good work!
Registration closes on Dec 18 so we can calculate numbers for the meal.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – INFO DESK
The Info Desk is the go-to place for parishioners and newcomers to receive timely, accurate information on parish activities, volunteering, signing up for events, etc. This is a great volunteer opportunity for folks who are outgoing, welcoming, and seeking an opportunity to serve others! DONATIONS FOR MINWAASHIN LODGE
Parishioner Alain (Al) Charette is working to collect donations for Minwaashin Lodge, a local Indigenous Women’s Support Centre. Donations of the following items can be dropped off at the parish. This is a great way to continue supporting the Truth & Reconciliation initiative begun by our Archdiocese and to care for those within our own community!
Items Needed:
- Purses – A purse drive is currently running! Purses will be filled with hygiene and beauty products and handed out to women on the streets.
- Winter Gear for both Men and Women – This includes Hats, Mittens, Boots, and Warm/Thick Socks.
- Blankets or Sleeping bags.
- Tents – Preferably smaller one or two people tents, as many of the homeless don’t like to carry the bigger ones around.
- Hygiene products – Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Toothpaste, Hair ties, Hair clips, Sanitary pads.
- Men’s sweaters.
- Beauty products – New Mascara, Eyeshadow, Lipstick, Nail Polish, Hair Brushes, Blush, New Makeup Brushes.

The Permission Movement is being re-awakened in Advent 2022!
Join us for Permission – The Series. This series of four talks will inspire and equip you to be more explosively alive in your faith. Fr. Bob’s vision of an Explosively Alive Church needs Explosively Alive Christians.
Everyone is welcome to join this series of inspiring talks led by Companions of the Cross priests and deacons. It will be streamed on YouTube, with links to be sent out to registrants.

OTTAWA CATHOLIC YOUNG PROFESSIONALS (OCYP)
This new ministry is for professionals under 40 looking to excel in their professional vocation while living out their faith in the workplace! Join us for the first Executive Panel Event on Thursday, December 1st at 7:00 PM at St. Theresa’s parish hall, 95 Somerset St.W. The topic will be “What does it mean to be a Catholic Professional?” You will also have the opportunity to network with peers and seasoned professionals and make connections from across the city.
