  • Toys R Us
  • Ikea
  • Walmart
  • Amazon
  • Superstore
  • Mastermind Toys
  • Indigo

Click here for more info about our Advent Outreach, including how to sign a Prayer Card to be added to the hampers!

ALTAR SERVER TRAINING

Is your child interested in Altar Serving? Sign up for our next training session on Dec 10 from 12:30-2:30, with included pizza lunch and gingerbread house building!

POINSETTIA DONATIONS

If you would like to donate a Poinsettia to help decorate Annunciation’s sanctuary and grounds for Christmas, you can bring your purchased flowers to the church on December 23. If you drop off the flowers earlier, please leave them in the hall and ensure the soil is moist. We ask that you do not bring donations any earlier than December 21.

Behold is a brand new event at Annunciation! On December 22 from 7-9pm, join us for a night of Eucharistic Adoration with praise & worship, followed by a time of fellowship in the hall. There will be a talk from Fr Joshua, and confession available throughout Adoration.

This is the perfect way to prepare your heart for Christmas and the coming of Christ. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!

SPECIAL SENIORS MASS & LUNCHEON

Join us on Dec 21 at 12pm for mass, fellowship, and good food! This month’s luncheon is provided by the Queenship of Mary as a fundraiser for their new convent being built in Plantagenet, Ontario. It’s an opportunity for us to support their good work!

Registration closes on Dec 18 so we can calculate numbers for the meal.

CHRISTMAS CAROL CONCERT

Come enjoy Christmas Carols sung by members of Annunciation parish! The concert will also be livestreamed to residents of senior homes who are unable to attend the concert in person, so that they too can enjoy the music. There will be a time of fellowship in the hall to follow.

If you have any questions, you can contact Paul Cuddihy at 613-266-2776 or Bob Norman at  343-880-8068.

CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE

The next meeting of the Catholic Women’s League will be this Saturday, December 10th at 11:30am. This will be our Potluck Christmas celebration. Please bring your own plates and cutlery to minimize clean-up. And please lug a mug. As our Christmas project we are collecting hygiene and personal care products for the women who are served by Minwaashin Lodge. We look forward to seeing you. We invite you to bring a friend.

We continue to collect used stamps for the Miriam Centre. The grey box is in the corner to the right of the welcome desk.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

The KoC “Coats for Kids” program strives to provide a warm jacket to every school child in Ontario who doesn’t have one. Today, more than ever, there are children and teens in need of proper winter clothing but who go without. The weather is getting chilly; when you put on your own jacket, think of the difference a warm coat can make in a child’s life, especially in our cold climate!

If you know of a child or teen in need of a winter coat, please contact the Knights of Columbus at grandknight@kofc8008.ca or david.hnatiw@gmail or text 613-314-6264 with contact details. Thank you to all those who have donated.

GRAND ULTREYA

Attention Cursillistas!  A Grand Ultreya will be held Wed. Dec. 7th at Holy Redeemer, 44 Rothesay in Kanata.  Mass is at 7:00pm followed by short talks with fellowship & great snacks in the hall.  All are welcome to join us.
