SENIOR’S MASS & LUNCHEON – FEBRUARY
All seniors are invited to join us on Feb 15 at 12pm for mass, fellowship, and good food! Registration closes Feb 12 so we can calculate numbers for the meal.

As our numbers grow, we’re in need of more Eucharistic ministers to serve at our weekend masses. This is a wonderful way to deepen your love for Jesus in the Eucharist, and serve your parish family. Training will be provided.

Ash Wednesday is in two weeks! Annunciation Parish will offer two Ash Wednesday masses: one in the morning at 9:00am, and one in the evening at 7:30pm for those who work during the day.
Ash Wednesday begins our 40 days of Lenten prayer and fasting. It’s a day of fasting and abstinence, and we receive ashes on our forehead to remind us of our own death. Sound a bit gloomy? Actually, it’s a beautiful reminder of our need for a Savior, and it puts everything into perspective. When we run a race, we need to know our end destination. By taking time to reflect on our mortality, we are reminding ourselves of the end goal: heaven. Lent reminds us to fix our eyes on Christ and run towards him. And since we know Christ has already defeated sin and death, we don’t need to fear either!

CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE
The next General Meeting of the Catholic Women’s League is Wednesday, February 8, 2023. At this meeting we will prepare our budget for the year and listen to a guest presentation. We look forward to seeing you. (We will provide a link for those of you who prefer to attend online.)
We also continue to collect used stamps for the Miriam Centre. The grey box is in the corner to the right of the Info Desk.
VBS 2023 – SAVE THE DATE
Mark your calendars! Annunciation’s Stellar VBS 2023 will take place the week of July 17-21. This summer camp will launch kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world! Check out the promo video below:
