PARISH NEWS
What did God do in your life during Lent 2023?
At the beginning of Lent, we at Annunciation parish were challenged to offer up our Lent for someone. Those names were written on slips of paper and later used to start the fire at the Easter Vigil.
When we pray, God listens. He answers. Sometimes, the response isn’t what we expected, or doesn’t come as quickly as we’d like. But God is worthy of our trust and he does use our prayers for good, regardless of whether we see it. Often, our prayers for others cause new life to bloom even in our own hearts.
What was your Lent like? How did God answer your prayers?
Did you see a change in a situation, or found a new sense of peace or joy? Was a wounded relationship healed, or a heart brought back to God and the Church? Maybe your own heart was convicted to return to the sacrament of Confession.
We want to know what God did in your life, big or small. Let’s give him glory for what he has done! Lent is over; now is the time to celebrate the love and victory of our God!

Come encounter Jesus in the Eucharist
Join us on May 4 at 7pm for our next Behold! Behold is a night of prayer and Eucharistic Adoration with Praise & Worship, followed by a time of fellowship in the hall. There will be a talk at the beginning of the evening, and the Sacrament of Confession available throughout Adoration.
Behold is a beautiful and engaging way to sit with God in prayer. With no commitment or registration required, it’s also an easy event to invite someone to! You don’t need to understand theology or lead small group discussions. Simply come as you are and encounter God’s personal love for you.
