PARISH NEWS
PRAYER INTENTION – FIRST COMMUNIONS
This coming weekend, April 22 & 23, Annunciation will be celebrating First Holy Communion for a number of our parish children. Let’s pray for them as they prepare to receive Jesus for the first time in the Eucharist!
IT’S STILL EASTER!
Did you know Easter lasts for 50 days? The celebration doesn’t end on Easter Sunday; it continues!
In celebration, check out two new testimonies from Annunciation parishioners! They’re sharing what God did in their lives during Lent 2023, and how he used their prayers to transform them.
You can share your story, too, anonymously or by name. Click here to read the testimonies and submit your own.
CGS INFO NIGHT
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is hosting a joint “Discover CGS” night with Good Shepherd Parish on Thursday, April 20th from 6:45-8:30pm. The event will let you explore CGS materials and hear some of the presentations that are shared with the children. Join us for a prayerful evening at Annunciation and see what CGS is all about!
What exactly is CGS? This Montessori based program introduces children to biblical, liturgical, and sacramental themes in a way that embraces their youth, their joy, and their capacity for prayer. Child-sized, tangible materials are the heart of the program. CGS works with ages 3 to 13 and meets weekly from October to April.

Come encounter Jesus in the Eucharist
Join us on May 4 at 7pm for our next Behold! Behold is a night of prayer and Eucharistic Adoration with Praise & Worship, followed by a time of fellowship in the hall. There will be a talk at the beginning of the evening, and the Sacrament of Confession available throughout Adoration.
Behold is a beautiful and engaging way to sit with God in prayer. With no commitment or registration required, it’s also an easy event to invite someone to! You don’t need to understand theology or lead small group discussions. Simply come as you are and encounter God’s personal love for you.
Who might the Holy Spirit be prompting you to invite?

May speaker: Marc Moreau
Topic: Holy Spirit
