VBS THANK YOU
Stellar VBS wrapped up this past Friday and was a huge success! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this camp possible through donations, prayers, and giving your time. Because of your generosity, over 90 kids and 70 volunteers got to hear the message of Jesus’ love and light.

Next year’s VBS theme has been announced! Can you guess the theme? Take a look at the teaser trailer below to see if you got it right.

This year, as of May 31, 2023, our total income is $271,300.00. Our total expenses are 235,700.00. This gives us a Net income of $35,600.00. We thank you for your continued generous support.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – SHEPHERDS OF GOOD HOPE
For over 35 years, Annunciation and St. Gabriel’s have volunteered at the Shepherds of Good Hope’s soup kitchen, helping to serve Ottawa’s most vulnerable on Sundays in September and January. This invaluable service to our brothers and sisters in Christ has always been a rewarding outreach experience, and an opportunity for parishioners to serve alongside each other and build new friendships.
Hunger is a very real need in our community. We think of the words of Jesus in scripture—“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat”—and our hearts are moved to serve! Shepherds of Good Hope is serving more and more in our community as needs grow, and is looking for more volunteers. To keep fulfilling our parish commitment to their ministry, we want to grow our volunteer base!
If this ministry speaks to your heart, and you feel it may be something to which God is calling you, please reach out to Christine at cdemers2545@rogers.com.
