COMPANIONS COMMUNITY DAYS
Community Days for the Companions of the Cross is next week! We pray for Fr. Rob, Fr. John, Fr. Kevin, and the rest of their community as they gather together. May the Holy Spirit bless them with joy, wisdom, and peace.
As our priests will be gone, we will have Communion Services instead of daily Mass on August 30, 31, and Sept 1.
SENIORS MASS & LUNCHEON
Seniors Mass & Luncheon is back! On September 20, all seniors are invited to join us for 12pm Mass, followed by fellowship and good food. There is no cost to attend, so invite a friend! Our September speaker is Marg Shea Lawrence.
Registration closes at 12am on September 14 in order to give enough time to calculate meal numbers. Click here to register.
CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD – REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
From September to June, our parish offers the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) to children aged 3 – 12 years old. CGS is a religious education program rooted in Sacred Scripture, Liturgy, and respect for the child’s rich relationship with God that uses the Montessori approach towards children, with materials.

FIRST PREP 2023-24
We are excited to announce Sacramental Preparation for 2023-2024! Our First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion preparation sessions will begin this Fall 2023. Visit the First Prep page for exact dates or to register. There will also be a chance to meet the First Prep team in person on Sunday, October 1 after the 11am Mass. They can answer any questions and help with registration.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
COMPANIONS OF THE CROSS – PROMISE RENEWAL MASS
On August 28, join the Companions of the Cross at St. Maurice Parish for a 7pm evening Mass as the seminarians renew their promises to the Community. This is an amazing opportunity to engage with the Community as there will be a light reception in the Atrium following Mass.

FREE FAMILY SKATE

The Congregation Machzikei Hadas, a local synagogue, is inviting the entire Ottawa community to their Family Skate, which is part of the Hockey Against Hate Tournament, on Sunday, August 27th at the Bell Sensplex at 1:15 PM.
Hockey Against Hate is their inaugural hockey tournament in support of the bridge building programs they lead throughout Ottawa. They’d love to have families from all across Ottawa skating and sharing time together doing something we all love!
There’s no cost, so just grab your skates and helmets for a great time on the ice.
