PARISH NEWS

This Lent, Annunciation Parish is diving into Rebuilt Faith by Fr. Michael White and Tom Corcoran. This 40-day book is designed to help you rebuild and renew your faith during Lent through daily 10 minute reflections. You can make it a part of your routine: read it with your morning coffee, during your lunch break, or as you relax in the evening. It’s simple and easy! Read, reflect, rebuild.

There are three ways to journey together through “Rebuilt Faith”:

  1. Join a weekly small group to dive deeper into the book together. Click here to register.
  2. Sign up for daily emailed prayers, pulled directly from the book. Click here to register.
  3. Read through the book on your own or with others.

Books are available for purchase for $5 at the Info Desk on weekends, or at the main office during the week.

We know that God has great things in store for you over the next 40 days. Let’s do Lent together!

Check out our Lent 2024 page for more, or click here for our Fasting Guidelines for Ash Wednesday.

PRAYING FOR ALPHA

Our Alpha program kicked off yesterday! Over the course of the 10-week program, we want to offer daily prayer for the participants and leaders. You can sign up below for a specific day of the week and commit to praying for Alpha that day. You could:

  • Include Alpha in your regular prayer intentions, simply asking God to be present to the guests and the team.
  • Pray a rosary, a Chaplet of Divine Mercy, or other traditional prayers for the intentions of Alpha.
  • Offer up small sacrifices during the day for those going through the program who are afraid of saying ‘Yes’ to Jesus.
  • Put on some praise and worship music and lift up the Alpha team and the guests.

We appreciate a free-will offering to help cover the cost of the meal.

Save the date! Our Scuba Summer Camp will run from July 22-26, 2024. Throughout the week, kids will dive deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. Keep an eye out for registration to open in the coming weeks!

SMART AGING

All seniors are invited to join us monthly for Mass, fellowship, and good food. There is no cost to attend (though a free-will offering is appreciated), so invite a friend!

Registration closes at 12am on Feb 15 in order to give enough time to calculate meal numbers.
