Library Refresh

So many books went to new homes this past weekend! We’re so glad so many stopped by to peruse our selection, and we can’t wait to launch the next phase of our library refresh.

While the books on our tables were free to take, the ones on the shelves were meant to be part of our permanent collection. Unfortunately, a few of them may have walked off... whoops!

If you accidently grabbed a book from the shelves instead of the tables, no worries! Just pop it back on the shelves this coming weekend.

We’ve set up a wishlist with books we’d love to add to our refreshed collection. These newer books feature popular authors, like Fr. Mike Schmitz, and topics relevant to our parishioners, including bringing beauty into the home, how to discern, how to pray, and more! Thanks to a donation this weekend, we’ve added “Made for Love” to the collection, a book by Fr. Mike discussing the Catholic faith and same-sex attraction; it’s a big topic, especially for young people, and many people have questions.

If you were blessed by taking books home last weekend and want to make a gift, the wishlist is an easy way to do so. You can browse here: Annunciation Parish Ottawa - Library Wishlist | Throne

We also take suggestions! If there’s ever a new Catholic book you’re interested in reading but can’t find in your local library, let us know at communications@annunciation-ottawa.com and we may add it to our wishlist.

Summer Camp Mass Schedule (July 20-24)

During our Rainforest Falls Summer Camp, our weekday schedule will be adjusted. From July 20-24, confessions will begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 8:30 a.m. There will be no morning Adoration during this week (though afternoon adoration will continue on Tuesdays). Thank you for your understanding as we welcome children and families to our parish!
