On May 2nd from 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm, come explore through art the beauty of God the Creator and his creation. Hosted by the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall at Saint-François d’Assise Church, the show will feature local artists with a focus on creation and how we find God through it.
ARTIST SUBMISSIONS
If you are a local artist and would like to submit your work for the show, please contact Mireille Church at mireille.church@ottawacornwall.ca. Submit your name, contact info, and number and size of art pieces (average 3 pieces). Include the title of each piece and a brief description of it, including the medium and meaning. Along with your pieces, submit a brief bio of your journey as an artist, and how your art is celebrating the value of creation.
Pieces (acceptable in a variety of medias) should reflect the value of Creation. This doesn’t just mean nature but could include anything in creation. For example, human portraits could fit the prompt.
You may post a price on your art pieces, if you are open to selling them. It will be left to the artist to arrange for commercial transactions.
