Volunteers Needed - Join the Roots Team!
What if you could make a difference that lasts forever… before lunch on a Sunday? We’re inviting YOU to be part of our Roots Kids Ministry team!
Every week, kids walk through our doors full of energy, questions, and BIG faith potential—and we need amazing youth and adults to help show them who Jesus is in a fun, safe, and engaging way.
Imagine being the reason a child:
- Feels loved at church
- Learns who Jesus is
- Builds a faith that lasts a lifetime

Our Roots program is back starting Sept 13th! Roots is our Sunday children’s program, helping kids grow deeper in their love for Jesus and others. It is offered at our 9 & 11am Sunday Masses.
Junior Roots: Ages 3-5 (ages 3 must be accompanied by parent)
Roots: Ages 6 – 10
Register your child/children ages 3 – 10 so that we can get to know them by name and keep you updated on any exciting family events we are hosting: Roots Kid Ministry :: VBS Pro :: Group Publishing
How does it work?
Gather & Send: shortly after the Sunday 9 and 11 am Mass starts, Father will gather the kids ages 3- 10 up front, pray over them, and send them off to Roots in the parish hall.
Participate: Kids will explore the Gospel through hands-on activities, discussions, and games! Roots takes place in the hall and Junior Roots in the side room.
Reunited with parents: The kids return for the second half of the Mass.
Youth Alpha is having a reunion! If you’ve attended Youth Alpha at Annunciation, come hang out with friends and bring a potluck snack to share. There will be some content and small group time.
The evening runs from 7-8:30pm on Sept 10th. No registration is needed. Bring a snack to share!
6:30-8:30 weekly beginning Sept 24, 2026
Annunciation Parish will be running Alpha for youth aged 13-18 beginning Sept 24, 2026. Join us each week from 6:30 – 8:30 for food and questions. To register, click here and fill out the form.
