Life Chain - October 4, 2026
Life Chain is the annual opportunity to support the sanctity of life from the moment of conception to natural death. Volunteers stand in silent prayer at a designated location for one hour and pray for an end to abortion. Signs will be available to hold.
Annunciation Parish Date: October 4, 2026
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Location: Corner of Montreal Rd. & St. Laurent Blvd.
We will have the signs at the S-E corner by 1:45. We will gather together for a brief prayer at 1:55 before scattering to the four corners of that intersection. Volunteers can spread out along the sidewalk without obstructing pedestrian traffic. Remember that this will be an opportunity to pray silently for an end to abortion without conversation. At 3:00 pm, volunteers return to the S-E corner and hand in the signs.
This fall, The Greenhouse is launching Discovery LIVE, a 6-week series exploring what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. This program is ideal for those new or newly returned to faith, and those who want to grow in a friendship with Jesus!

40 Days for Life – Annunciation Parish Prayer Slot
As part of the 40 Days for Life campaign, people gather in peaceful prayer for the protection of all life and for healing for those affected by abortion.
Annunciation Parish’s prayer time is Oct 14th from 2-4 pm at the southwest corner of Queen & Bank Streets (near Ottawa’s main abortion facility). Our priests will be present, and parishioners are invited to join them in this quiet witness for life.
